Villa Corti is a Luxury Chianti villa
which was originally the home of a wealthy merchant in the 1400s, later it become a simple country home until it was bought by the present owners who restored it to its original glory. The home is located in the Chianti region of Tuscany between Florence and Siena with excellent access to the highways as well as the most famous hill towns of the area such as San Gimignano, Greve and Panzano.
The villa has extensive grounds which include olive groves and vineyards typical of Tuscany. The large pool is located amidst olive trees providing a wonderful Tuscan atmosphere and pretty views of the softly rolling hills that surround the property.
The villa has several pretty courtyards and well maintained gardens providing guests with several places to sit and enjoy the warm Tuscan sun or relax in the shade of olive trees. The villa is furnished with wonderful antiques, many passed down through the owner’s family. It also has the original handmade terracotta stone floors and the first floor has the traditional Tuscan ceiling of wooden beams and terracotta tiles. The friendly English speaking owners live next door and Offer local touring ideas as well as their own Wine and olive oil for sale.

First Floor
The front door opens onto a wide hall with dining room and fireplace to the left followed by the fully-equipped kitchen. French doors out of the dining room access the courtyard. The maid’s quarters (one twin bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower) are adjacent to the kitchen. Four steps facing the entrance, lead up to one twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub. A corridor stretches down to the rear of the house and also provides access to the cellar and service bathrooms. Stairs on the right as you come in, ascend to the upper floor.
Second Floor
A study, equipped with phone, fax and PC with internet access nestles half-way up the stairs. The upper floor features a large double living room with homely fireplace. Doors lead to the bedrooms: on one side are two double bedrooms and one twin; on the other, there is a further double bedroom and one single room. All bedrooms have their own en suite bathrooms with shower.
