In a beautiful corner of Tuscany , and exactly in proximity of an antique parish nearby the medieval town of Lucca , Villa Damiano was built around the middle of 17 th century. Preserved and protected by an enclosed wall, the Villa is the true expression of Lucca’s sober architecture.

The entrance portal with the double flight stairway, in the symmetrical distribution of the rooms around the central salon, is in memory of a lifestyle based on an easy elegance of those days. After arriving from the town you are embraced and conquered by the gentle colours and the sharp fragrances of the surrounding countryside.

As you arrive at the gate your eyes are met by the sight of cypresses, that are layed out in a double row along the entrance avenue, that seem to gently welcome the guests. The wide park of the Villa with lime-trees, oaks, olives, magnolias , large bushes of aromatic plants and roses is the ideal background for the Romantic style swimming-pool. Near the pool is a pergola of Bouganvilla.
