Outdoors you will find the gardens filled with an abundance of fragrant flowers such as jasmine, roses as well as several sitting areas all furnished with high quality couches, chairs and loungers. The private infinity pool and Jacuzzi and located on a lower terrace with western exposure offering an incredible views and some of the prettiest sunsets we have ever seen. The grounds of Villa Lara have been designed to take advantage of its setting. The pool, bordered by a profusion of flowers, is situated just below the house and enjoys a 180° view of the countryside. The lavender lined path winds its way up past the garden to the terrace, an ideal spot to sit and enjoy the views, framed by the wisteria growing overhead.

The interior of Villa Lara is done in a high quality Tuscan style. A palette of terracotta, cream, pale yellows and blues has been used to color-wash the walls, the traditional way to introduce color, and creates a warm ambience. Combined with wood beams and‘cotto’ floors found throughout, it is the perfect backdrop to the rich dark wood furniture and patterned rugs. Antique tables, interesting pictures and elegant fabrics add the finishing touches.
